Wages and Benefits
- The average salary of benefit eligible RNs (those who work 44% time or more) is approximately $96,000/year.
- UC nurses receive the same benefits as other employees of the University of California – a wide range of medical plans based on location, including HMO, POS, PPO, EPO or a consumer model; a choice of two dental plans; disability insurance and workers’ compensation. The University of California also provides life and accident insurance and a variety of tax-savings programs.
- The University of California offers its UC Retirement Plan (UCRP), benefits of which include lifetime monthly retirement income, disability benefits, survivor income and death benefits.
